China crisis readiness

A public-source baseline for China crisis readiness

A China-related issue rarely begins with a complete picture. Before making statements, briefing a board or instructing local advisers, you need to know what Chinese-language public sources actually show—and where the record is unclear. China Presence 90 is a fixed-scope, seven-business-day diagnostic for organisations and private individuals. We examine the search footprint around selected names, entities and claims; test identity and factual consistency across relevant public sources; distinguish supported points from gaps; and set out proportionate next actions. The work is lawful, desk-based and evidence-led. It is designed to improve readiness and decision quality, not to promise removal, suppression or control over third-party content.

When this review is useful

Start with the decision, not the campaign.

01

Boards and leadership teams

Establish a fact base before briefings, announcements or significant decisions.

02

Legal, risk and communications teams

Test identity details and circulating claims before setting a response posture.

03

Executives and private individuals

Understand the visible record before engaging advisers, publishers or platforms.

Diagnostic output

A bounded record of what can be supported.

Each finding is tied to the reviewed source set and date. Unknowns stay visible; third-party outcomes stay independent.

01

Search-footprint baseline

Material Chinese-language results, recurring themes and relevant source references within scope.

02

Identity and claims table

Names, roles, entities, dates and substantive claims compared source by source.

03

Evidence-gap register

Contradictions, unsupported assertions, missing corroboration and unresolved uncertainty.

04

Next-action brief

Ordered priorities, dependencies and questions for appropriate advisers or specialists.

Seven-business-day method

Evidence first. Sequence second.

The diagnostic establishes a reliable baseline before implementation, outreach or public claims are considered.

  1. 01

    Define the decision

Agree the relevant names, entities, issues, timeframe and exclusions.

  2. 02

    Map the footprint

Search lawful Chinese-language public sources and record material results, URLs and access dates.

  3. 03

    Test the record

Compare identities and claims, distinguishing support, contradiction and uncertainty.

  4. 04

    Set priorities

Deliver the diagnostic and sequenced next actions at the close of the review.

Questions before engagement

Scope, limits and evidence.

Is this an emergency response service?

No. It is a fixed-scope readiness diagnostic, not live monitoring, media handling or 24-hour crisis counsel. It provides a documented starting point for subsequent decisions.

Which sources are reviewed?

Lawfully accessible Chinese-language public sources relevant to the agreed queries. We do not use hacking, pretexting, private accounts or claimed privileged access.

Can you remove content or control search results?

No. The diagnostic identifies what is visible, how well material claims are supported and what to consider next. Third-party content, rankings and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Private enquiry

Clarify the record before the stakes rise.
